We have an update regarding the status of the Pet Of The Month loot bags for January. Following the new year, there was a issue that affected a small percentage of our members preventing the loot bag from being properly awarded when adopting the Schnauzer, January’s Pet Of The Month. The issue was fixed shortly after the reports began coming in.

We are happy to report that those members who did not receive the loot bag when adopting the Schnauzer can now do so. To obtain your loot bag, log into your account, switch to the pet Schnauzer that you adopted this month, and use the “Things To Do” menu to navigate to your room. Once you enter your room, you will receive your Pet Of The Month loot bag.

We apologize for any inconvenience. We’ve had a talk with the Koala was who unwilling to allow the Schnauzer to take Pet of The Month honors from it and decided to steal some of the Pet of The Month loot bags. The Koala apologizes to you all, as well. Mustache Louie is again happy-go-lucky.

Happy New Year, everyone. We hope you are enjoying this first day of 2010! We have some news regarding some of the new content in Webkinz World.

We have received reports from a small percentage of our members stating that the loot bags containing special items that are awarded when registering a Pet Of The Month pet have not been rewarded properly.

The issue was identified, and it has now been fixed. Anyone who registers a Schnauzer from this point forward during January will receive the Pet Of The Month loot bag. For those who registered a Pet Of The Month pet but did not receive a loot bag yet, a fix will be coming on Monday of next week that will award the loot bag.

According to word around the newsroom, the Koala was unwilling to allow the Schnauzer to take Pet of The Month honors from it and decided to steal some of the Pet of The Month loot bags! Mustache Louie was not pleased.

Additionally, the Mountain Mine Ride, awarded to Deluxe members that have a yearly membership, is currently closed for repairs. Annual Deluxe members will recieve the item correctly, but the ride will only begin to be operational next week. Apparently, Arte still had some gems to mine from within it.
